Placed base over 4x4 corner post on deck. Small birds, lg birds & squirrels line up on wires & in trees to take turn throughout the day. Am ordering a 2nd to place on other corner of deck so 1 is always in shade. Very entertaining to watch "line up"; squirrels often wait for small birds to leave before appoaching.

I used to have a large green saucer on the ground for the birds to drink from. I then replaced the green saucer with this waterer/bath. I've seen adult birds drink from it and also babies bathing in it! It took about a week or so for the birds to notice it. I have hung it from a pole with another feeder next to it, but none of the birds tried it. It seems like they like it better sitting on the ground. I have it sitting near a tree on a bed of mulch and the birds don't have any issues getting onto the drinking pools. It's easy to unscrew and clean. The dome and base are durable and water flows out great. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to provide water for birds.

This water/birdbath is the best thing I have bought for my yard...My husband installed it on top of a large pole and the birds go to this all the time....love this product...!!!!

I tried one of these. Ended up setting it on the ground. With the water in it it's too heavy for tree branches. What a joke! :(

This is the second one I've bought. I dropped the first one from about twenty feet up and broke it after several years of use.
The birds love it and I love it. There is always fresh water for them to drink and it's so easy to clean. I'm in the lower zone 7 and use it year round.

We have seven acres of land and plenty of wild birds. It's been exciting to see the myriad of birds we have swimming and drinking from these birdbaths/fountains. Best of all, the squirrels can't get to them and our dogs leave them alone.

I love this product. Squirrels don't use it which is fabulous. Very first thing that the squirrels don't go to and don't destroy. All the little birds drink and bathe in it. It's wonderful to watch them. It's very durable since we had furious winds which blew it apart (the bottom somehow came off) but it wasn't destroyed at all. Just screwed it back on and voila, it was set to go. Very easy to clean. The birds love, love, love it.
