Comments about TOPSY TURVY TOMATO PLANTER Topsy Turvy™ Planter:

Originally, I was excited about using this product. When I put my first two tomato plants in it, the plants really grew quickly and soon produced blooms and then tomatoes, but when the heat of the summer came, I had to water it every single day because the root system dries out way too quickly due to the planter's poor construction to protect the roots. In my opinion, root systems are meant to be buried below ground, so they won't dry out and parch so quickly. Also, the two ripe tomatoes I did get off this plant, before it died, were half-eaten by some rodent(probably a squirrel). Recommendation: Do not buy this product, it's not worth your time or money. Either plant it the normal way, or go to a place that sells tomatoes on-the-vine.

When I saw a picture of this product, I thought it would be a great planter to hang by the deck. WOW!!! It worked great!!! We get many great tomatoes from it. We're going to be planting our third time in it, this year. Everybody, in our family, wants one now.

Comments about TOPSY TURVY TOMATO PLANTER Topsy Turvy™ Planter:

I love my planter. Have used it 3 yrs and get wonderful tomatos. You do have to plant cherry tomatos or smaller tomatos like Early Girl, and thats only because the larger beefstake ones are too heavy. I have pictures of my tomatoes and they grew so well they almost hit my lawn. I placed them under the eves. Had no problem with insects, wind or anything. I also did not have to water as often as I did my garden tomatos. I love it!!

This Product is Very Overestimated! I bought four of them and used them for Tomatoes. (According to Directions) At the end of the season they literally Disintegrated. I wrote the company many times and they said they wouldn't do anything for me.So Now I'm getting even with them by telling Everyone I know and Don't know what a Bad Product this really is! To bad This Company Doesn't Stand Behind Their Product...
Please don't waste you Hard Earned Money and Time on this Piece of Garbage....

We had 2 of these hanging on the front porch. The one with the small cherry tomatoes did very well and we had hundreds of tomatoes way into the Fall. Th one with the larger tomatoes only produced fruit that had some kind of rot at the bottom. This year we are going to plant all small tomatoes.

This keeps the fruit off the ground and away from pests. It does get heavy when full of soil. My planter has held up going on 4 summers.
It takes very little space to use also.

Comments about TOPSY TURVY TOMATO PLANTER Topsy Turvy™ Planter:

We loved using this product. We had about 30 fruit. Needs to be watered every day or so in very hot dry weather. Had tomatoes until frost.
we plan to use about 5 planters this season.
A bit costly, but this will be our 2nd year
using the planter.
