Brand: SUPER-GRO (12 RED) TOMATO BOOSTER KIT
Located in: Outdoor, Garden
GARDENERS who've enjoyed "bumper crop" results with our Original Tomato Booster the past 9 years had just one request: Could we make the booster grow tomatoes even bigger, better and faster? So we rolled up our sleeves and developed this brand-new, improved model!

Our new, big red Super-Gro Tomato Booster offers a larger, 1-gallon-plus reservoir, (50% more capacity than the original!) and a fourth fertilizer cup that provides four-point drip irrigation. Two extended "wings" collect extra water for irrigation, plus its big 25" x 13" "footprint" chokes out more weeds. And research shows that the red color stimulates bigger growth and earlier ripening. Get a set of 12 (a $43.96 value) for only $27.99!

Comments about SUPER-GRO (12 RED) TOMATO BOOSTER KIT 12 Super-Gro Tomato Boosters:

I was excited about trying the Tomato Boosters. I bought 12. Performance in Texas is poor! They fade quickly and become brittle. I use a dry, powder fertilizer, so it is difficult to treat my plants. Also, putting a cage around the tomato is a challenge. The only advantage I have found is that you can fill the Booster and the water stays near the plant. However, I did have a hard time with several of the Boosters clogging up. I wouldn't buy these again unless there are improvements.

Comments about SUPER-GRO (12 RED) TOMATO BOOSTER KIT 12 Super-Gro Tomato Boosters:

It is true they deteriorate during the year and are useless at the end. However I grew tomatoes from April through Thanksgiving. I do live in the California's SF bay area which has a longer season. My wife and I plant between 12 ans 20 plants every year. We do revitalize the ground every year. The boosters are great for adding fertilizers and a constant water supply that does not wash away. They do fade and basically fall apart at the end of the season. We just buy another set each year as part of the planting. They reduce greatly the amount of water we use. In our area that is extremely important.

great idea easy to water and fertilize.water goes to the roots doesn"t run off. i tried to reinforce with duct tape lasted a little longer, but the fact is you only get 1 season out of them before they break down and fall apart.i used 48 last season all reinforced with duct tape i have 23 that i can reuse this season.iwould only recommed if the buyer knew the cons.

Comments about SUPER-GRO (12 RED) TOMATO BOOSTER KIT 12 Super-Gro Tomato Boosters:

We can't believe this product is still on the market. They fade and crack within a couple months. The tomatos that we planted without Super-Gro Tomato Boosters performed at least as well as those we planted using the Boosters. The most noticeable difference was the mess of mutilated plastic that we had to remove from our garden, thanks to this product.

Comments about SUPER-GRO (12 RED) TOMATO BOOSTER KIT 12 Super-Gro Tomato Boosters:

I purchased 12 of the Super-Grow Boosters at the start of the season rather then sticking with the red plastic sheeting; what a waste of money. I am sorry I suggested to family and friends to try it before I saw how worthless they were. Within 30 days they started to fade. Within 60 days there was no red tint left and the plastic had become brittle and they started falling apart. They are also too small to be of any benefit if you grow large tomato bushes as I do. SAVE YOUR MONEY, I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT.
